Information this site handles
The site itself stores two preference values in the visitor's browser:
sb_preferred_locale_v1, which remembers the chosen language; andsb_analytics_consent_v1, which records whether optional analytics was accepted or rejected.
If a visitor accepts analytics, Google Analytics 4 may process standard technical and usage information, including:
- pages viewed and approximate session activity;
- device, browser, and operating-system information;
- approximate country or region derived from network information;
- referring page and campaign parameters;
- a pseudonymous browser or device identifier created by Google Analytics; and
- the page title, page path, and page location sent by this site's page-view event.
The site does not ask for names, email addresses, Roblox credentials, payment details, private messages, precise location, or free-form submissions. Forms, accounts, comments, advertising, and purchases must not be added without updating this policy first.
Google Analytics 4
The production build includes Google Analytics 4 measurement ID G-JLZP6ZJV4M. The analytics script is not inserted before a visitor makes a choice. Accept analytics loads one GA4 script and sends one page-view event for the current route; subsequent client-side route changes can send a new page view. Reject analytics leaves the script unloaded and does not block any guide.
Google may process analytics data under its own terms and privacy documentation and may set identifiers such as _ga after consent. This implementation does not send Roblox usernames, form text, advertising identifiers, or custom dimensions containing personal information.
Cookies and local storage
The language and consent keys listed above use browser local storage. They are functional preferences and do not send data to the operator by themselves. Analytics storage remains disabled until the visitor accepts. A visitor can change the choice through Analytics settings in the footer or clear the site's browser data.
External links and embedded media
Guide pages link to the official Slap Battles experience and community on Roblox. Visiting an external site subjects the visitor to that site's privacy practices. This release does not embed video or third-party social widgets. If an embed is added later, this policy must be reviewed before publication.
Data retention and deletion
The two local preference values remain in the visitor's browser until they are changed or cleared. This site's client code does not set the retention period of the connected Google Analytics property, and the property-level retention setting was not inspected in this build round. Hosting and analytics providers may retain request or measurement data under their own account settings and policies. This unresolved property-setting detail is tracked as a launch caution rather than assigned a fabricated period.
Children
This fan site does not knowingly request personal information from children. It has no open text forms, public comments, direct messaging, or account creation. Those features require appropriate safeguards and a revised policy before they can be added.
Security
No internet service can guarantee absolute security. This release minimizes collection by omitting accounts and submissions and by keeping analytics off until consent. Hosting and analytics accounts remain the operator's responsibility.
Changes to this policy
This policy should be updated whenever analytics, consent behavior, hosting, embedded services, forms, advertising, or contact features change. Material changes should receive a new effective date.
